The VUSION Engage is an interactive video rail with an easy-to-use digital display. On the VUSION Engage, prices, videos and merchandise information can be flexibly adjusted by a touch interface located at the bottom of each VUSION Rail display. Based on the VUSION Engage IoT Cloud-based platform, the digital video rail platform is directly connected to the shelves. Synchronized with all local POS systems, price displays and changes, as well as full color campaigns can quickly be displayed.
The basic principle of the LCD Video Bar is to fully digitize paper labels. However, VUSION Engage goes further than this, animating the process of electronic labels: By its full high-definition screen, the video rail can display multiple prices, product descriptions and options, as well as dynamic content of images and videos on multiple levels. Networking between the VUSION Engage IoT cloud platform and the shelves enables a smart operational agility: by synchronizing with all POS systems, content such as price reductions, campaigns or vouchers can be managed and changed quickly on VUSION Engage. All you need is a fixed power supply and a connection via WLAN (frequency bands 2. 4 GHz and 5 GHz) or Bluetooth. In this way, transparent customer and employee communication takes place in real time through digital signage.
The electronic shelf labels can be controlled and repositioned via touchbar interface on the bottom of each VUSION Engage display or directly via a Content Management System (e.g. tablet). In doing this, the display brightness can be adjusted with just one click. At the same time, the video rail is protected against the intervention of unauthorised users: the touch bar can only be operated by authorised staff, so that customers cannot move price tags. Naturally, access control also prevents the wrong people from altering digital prices or changing content in the media player. Thanks to the aluminium casing, the LCD video bar is scratch-resistant, extremely robust and can be mounted on any shelf.
